The closed
aluminum facade system

Alufac is a facade solution with clean sharp lines, simple installation, long lifetime and CO2-reducing documentation.

It is a closed facade system, similar to Woodfac Panel (LINK), but with the significant difference that Alufac is aluminum cladding rather than wood.

The system acts as an effective climate envelope that protects the building from the effects of the weather, while the facade retains its breathability thanks to the ventilation behind it.

The system offers a wide range of accessory profiles for finishing and framing around doors and windows.

Woodfac Click is an open system with optional timber lamellae on an underlying aluminium structure. With views of the building's load-bearing facade, it is possible to compose a living architecture, created through light, shadow, materials and design.

The system offers corner solutions, various cover profiles, solutions for curved facades and reinforcement profiles that allow for high clearance both horizontally and vertically.

Woodfac Click is particularly suitable for cladding parking garages.
The open facade system makes it easy to give parking garages a certain wow effect. Many parking garages are built among beautiful apartment buildings and why not make them as inviting to look at as their environment and surroundings.

With wooden lamellae as cladding, you have the opportunity to construct beautiful and timeless parking garages with a natural and warm appearance that develops a beautiful patina over time.

Woodfac Panel is a closed system that acts as a building envelope. The system consists of optional wooden slats mounted on aluminum panels.

The aluminum panels protect the building from the weather and have an underlying ventilation system that allows the facade to "breathe".

The panel solution includes variable single, double and corner panels with punched holes for facade screws that are hidden when the panels are clipped together.

The system offers a wide range of accessory profiles for finishing and framing doors, windows (glazing profiles) and other facade elements.

This ensures that there are no internal stresses, strains or structural damage in both individual components and as an overall facade solution.

Powder coating

Anodizing reinforces and increases the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface, so the material itself creates an extra protective surface. Anodizing allows you to choose different visual expressions, including colors and glossy, matte or brushed steel. The anodized slats remain elegant for decades and require no maintenance.

Aluminium slats can be powder coated in a wide range of colors, patterns and finishes. The powder coating provides a robust and durable surface that protects against corrosion, wear and tear, etc.

Low carbon footprint and unique lifespan

Using recycled aluminum as the primary material of the façade can be one way to achieve significantCO2 savings.

Nordisk Profil only uses Greenline aluminum, which is 100% collected and recycled aluminum. It has a very lowcarbon footprint of only 1.8 kgCO2-eq/kg compared to primary aluminum, which leaves a footprint of 11.1CO2-eq/kg.

Greenline aluminum meets the same high demands as primary aluminum, while offering the possibility to install a facade with the best EPD values on the market.

Aluminum facades require no maintenance and have a life expectancy of +70 years. As much as 70% of all aluminum produced is still in its first version.

Lightweight but robust facade

Aluminum is a very lightweight material and has an impressive strength-to-weight ratio compared to other construction metals such as steel.

This means that the entire façade construction is both lightweight and robust at the same time and quite advantageous for buildings where weight reduction is important. At the same time, it also helps with easier handling from delivery to installation.

Aluminum also has a natural ability to resist corrosion such as rust, making the material quite suitable for outdoor use.
