Wood is a material suitable for all types of construction, and choosing a solution from Nordisk Profil guarantees the only fire retardant on the market that has achieved accreditation, approval and full classification according to EN16755.
Nordisk Profil is the facade supplier for two hospitals so far, where wooden lamellae are a significant part of the architecture.
In 2023, Rigshospitalet opened the Bodil Eskesen Center, where cedar lamellae were chosen for a design that focuses on warm materials, daylight and close contact with the surrounding nature. Read more about the project Bodil Eskesen Center inaugurated |AART.
Another example is the Regional Hospital in Horsens, where the exclusive Accoya lamellae were chosen.
Each component of Nordisk Profil's facade systems is designed and assembled for easy disassembly and transformation, which contributes to the easy transformation of individual parts into new products. Just as it is straightforward to remove the lamellae as well as the suspension system and reuse it for another facade project.
