Napsu is a facade solution with clean sharp lines, fast installation, long lifetime and sustainable documentation. 

It is an open facade system, similar to Woodfac Click with the difference that Napsu is a facade solution with aluminum lamellas instead of wood.

The open system provides a fine view of the building's load-bearing facade, which makes it possible to compose a living architecture created through light, shadows, materials and design.

The system offers corner solutions, various cover profiles, solutions for curved facades and reinforcement profiles that allow for a large free span both horizontally and vertically‍

Napsu is also an ideal system for technical shielding. It is both attractive and practical, and the flexible design of the slats makes it possible to achieve different degrees of shielding. See more here.

Woodfac Click is an open facade system with optional wooden slats on an underlying structure of recycled aluminum. With a view of the building's load-bearing facade, it is possible to compose a living architecture created through light, shadows, materials and design.

With wooden slats as full or partial cladding, you can construct beautiful and timeless facades with a natural and warm appearance that develops a beautiful patina over time.

The system offers corner solutions, various cover profiles, solutions for curved facades and reinforcement profiles that enable large free span - both horizontally and vertically.

Woodfac Panel is a closed facade system with optional wooden slats on a back structure of recycled aluminum.

The system acts as an effective climate envelope that protects the building from the effects of the weather, while the facade retains its breathability thanks to the ventilation behind it.

The system offers a wide range of accessory profiles for finishing and framing around doors and windows.

Installation

Thermal movement

Thermal movement refers to the natural expansion and contraction of materials as a result of temperature changes.

Thermal movement is integrated into all our facade solutions, allowing the individual components of the systems to move individually in relation to each other. This ensures that there are no internal stresses, strains or structural damage in both individual components and as an overall facade solution.

Aluminium structure

The structure and profiles of the facade system are made from certified recycled aluminum.

Greenline® aluminum is 100% collected and recycled aluminum with a very low_{carbon footprint} of only 1.8 kg CO2-eq/kg compared to primary aluminum, which has a footprint of 11.1.

Wood lamella

Wood slats are produced in ^FSC® or PEFC™ certified wood with the assurance of responsible and sustainable forestry.

Cradle to Cradle certified flame retardant is used for fireproofing wooden slats, which, with 100% natural substances, is non-toxic, VOC emission-free and 100% degradable.

The thermal treatment of the slats ensures dimensional stability and unique longevity with a durability of up to +50 years, depending on the wood species.

As an installed façade system, Woodfac is the only façade solution on the market that is end-use tested and approved according to BR18. BR18 and passed to B-s1,d0 / B-s2,d0 - depending on the type of wood.

We specialize in fire classes, requirements, regulations and documentation needs for wooden façade solutions and offer advice to ensure passive fire protection in the initial phase of the building project.

OUTDOOR WOODEN LAMELLAE,
WHEN THE FACADE NEEDS TO IMPRESS

Wood is a great CO2-reducing material to use as an outdoor facade panel.

Nordisk Profil recommends different types of wood, all of which are particularly suitable for exterior cladding due to their dimensional stability, resistance, durability and fire class.

They vary in expression in terms of colors and knots, but regardless of type, facade slats will patina over time and give a look in more greyish tones and shades. The patination depends on location, but will always be affected by the surrounding environment,

There may be a desire to install pre-patinated slats, as exemplified by the exclusive Papirøen building. Here, all slats are patinated identically before installation - a process that Nordisk Profil handles in collaboration with the architect and client.
