Aalborg Forsyning

Architect: Arkinord Arkitekter

Facade system: Woodfac Click

If you are curious about a beautiful, functional and environmentally friendly interior cladding, Aalborg Forsyning is a very presentable example of this.

Their new administration building, designed by Arkinord Arkitekter, features a beautiful interior atrium that forms the building's central space and gathering area.

The impressive skylight atrium fills the space with natural light filtered through suspended wooden lamellae, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

From floor to ceiling and as "framing" of functions, wooden lamellae are installed. In addition to contributing to a beautiful architectural design, the slat solution is used as screening and protection on the floors of the building.

Likewise, the lamellae are installed from the back wall of the foyer all the way around, acting as an acoustic wall for the entire atrium.

The facade solution is our Woodfac Click system with selected certified wood slats in thermofyre. The lamellae measure 34x85 mm and are installed with a cc distance of 79.5 mm.

The facade system is set up with a cover profile on the front of the mounting rail and a back cover on the back of the lamellae. This level of detail and extra finish gives an extra neat and clean look, which is an ideal solution for an interior facade like this.

Take a look at the images and see how the architectural lines and thoughtful use of materials enhance the beauty and functionality of the space, making the atrium a stunning focal point in the building.
